Walk-ins from your phone
In the Hairvana app, add a walk-in in a few taps. They are checked in on the spot and show on the day's list with everyone who booked.
A waitlist for full days
When the book is full, clients join the waiting list from your booking page. Switch on alerts and they hear by text or email when a slot opens.
Fewer no-shows
Reminders go out by email and text before each appointment. Ask for a deposit on any service, and set a late-cancel or no-show fee if you want one.
Checkout with tips
Ring up cuts and products, take cards through Stripe on a card reader, or record cash. Each tip is recorded against the barber who earned it.
Commission or chair rent
Pay barbers on commission, hourly plus commission, or salary plus commission, and Hairvana works out what each one earned. Barbers who rent a chair stay out of payroll.

01Can a client book a haircut and a beard trim together?
Yes. A client can pick up to 6 services in one booking, and the time blocked on the barber's calendar is the length of all of them together.
02How do walk-ins work?
Open the Hairvana app, add the walk-in with their name and the service, and they are checked in straight away. From a computer, add a booking or ring them up at checkout. The app is on Android now; the iPhone app is coming soon.
03Can I take deposits or charge for no-shows?
Yes, if you want to. A deposit is set per service, and late-cancel and no-show fees are set per barber. Both stay off until you switch them on.
04Do text reminders cost extra?
Text messages use prepaid credits that you top up in Hairvana. Email reminders are included in the plan.
05Can I bring my clients from another app?
Hairvana's import reads client and service exports from Square, Vagaro, GlossGenius, Fresha, Booker and Boulevard, plus any spreadsheet (CSV or Excel), and can even read a photo or PDF of a client list. You check every row before anything is saved.
